Go-cat Herring with Vegetables

Cats decide a lot about food before they taste it, which is presumably why GO-CAT bothered pressing a fish shape into the fish kibble and a tripod shape into the vegetable one rather than leaving every piece the same.

This is a complete dry food for adult cats, built mainly from cereals and meat and animal derivatives, with fish and fish derivatives making up 4% herring specifically inside the fish-shaped kibbles, and 0.2% dried pea plus 0.2% dried carrot (equivalent to 14% rehydrated vegetables) inside the tripod-shaped ones. Protein sits at 30%, fat at 11%, crude ash at 7.5% and crude fibre at 3%, with added vitamins and taurine.

What the label does not say. It's called Herring with Vegetables, but the composition list shows only 4% herring is specific — the rest of the meat and fish protein is the unnamed catch-all "meat and animal derivatives" and "fish and fish derivatives." That's not unusual for this end of the market, but it's worth knowing the named ingredient is a minority of what's actually in the bowl.
