Felix pouches

Felix is one of the most widely stocked wet cat food brands in the UK, sold in single-serve foil pouches rather than tins. We stock a selection from the range, mostly the jelly and sauce lines cats tend to go back for.

What a Felix pouch actually is

A Felix pouch is a complete wet food for adult cats, meaning it's designed to be fed as a whole meal rather than a topper, and comes packed in jelly, gravy or a thicker sauce depending on the line. The single-serve format is the main appeal for a lot of owners: no tin to store half-used in the fridge, and less waste if your cat only eats what's put down at each sitting.

The range runs across a fair number of flavour mixes — fish, poultry and mixed selections are the ones we see move fastest — and Felix leans on strong flavour and a soft, easy-to-eat texture rather than premium ingredient claims. It's a mainstream everyday food, not a specialist one, and that's exactly what most cats on it are fed for.

What we stock, and who it suits

We stock a rotating selection from the Felix pouch range rather than every variety made, and what's shown in the grid above is what we currently have in stock to order. Multipacks are the normal way it's sold, since a single pouch is one meal and most owners are buying for a week or more at a time.

It suits an owner who wants a reliable, inexpensive wet food their cat already likes and eats consistently, rather than someone shopping on ingredient specifics. If your cat has a diagnosed condition or a prescribed diet, that takes priority over any everyday pouch, whatever the flavour.

Common questions

Is Felix a complete food or a treat?
The standard Felix pouches sold as meals are a complete food, meant to be fed as your cat's whole diet rather than a topper. Check the pack itself if you're unsure, since some limited lines are marketed as treats rather than a complete meal.
Why does my cat prefer jelly over gravy, or the other way round?
It usually comes down to texture preference rather than anything nutritional — some cats consistently go for the firmer jelly-set pieces, others prefer the looser gravy or sauce. There's no harm in mixing formats to see what your own cat actually finishes.
Do you stock the whole Felix range?
No. We stock a selection of the pouches and multipacks rather than every flavour Felix makes, and that changes with what's available at each restock. What's shown in the grid is what we currently have to order.
Can I switch my cat onto Felix from another wet food?
Most cats manage a switch between everyday wet foods without any fuss, but it's still worth mixing the new food in gradually over a few days rather than swapping overnight, and watching their appetite and stools as you go. If your cat is on a vet-prescribed diet, check with them before changing anything.
