Lamb is the flavour cat owners often reach for expecting something richer than chicken or fish, and the composition is the only place that expectation actually gets tested.

This is an adult cat food in jelly: meat and animal derivatives, of which lamb is named at 4%, alongside fish and fish derivatives, minerals and various sugars. Felix's figures are moisture 83%, protein 8.5%, fat content 3%, crude ash 2.5%, crude fibre 0.05% and omega-6 fatty acids 0.6%, with a feeding guide of 4 pouches a day for an average 4kg cat.

On the name. Lamb is named at 4% — the same figure a lot of budget lamb pouches carry, and lower than this range's own chicken flavour. Fish and fish derivatives are also in the ingredient list, despite lamb being the only meat named on the front.

Who it's for: owners of adult cats who want the lamb flavour specifically, feeding within Felix's own daily guide, rather than choosing it expecting a particularly high lamb content.
