Felix chicken cat food

Felix's chicken range covers more than one product — wet cat food in both jelly and gravy, plus several separate treat lines including Crispies, Joyables and Tasty Nuggets, all using chicken as a named flavour. Which one you want depends on whether you are feeding a meal or giving a treat.

The chicken range we stock

For meals, we carry Felix as Good as It Looks Chicken in Jelly, Felix Original Chicken in Jelly, and mixed recipes including chicken such as the Doubly Delicious Beef, Chicken & Veg and the Soup Farm Selection Beef, Chicken and Lamb. For treats, the range includes Felix Crispies Chicken and Beef, Joyables Liquid with Chicken, and Tasty Nuggets Chicken & Duck.

The wet food recipes are complete meals formulated to be a cat's whole diet, while everything under the treats banner — Crispies, Joyables, Tasty Nuggets — is designed as an extra on top of a complete diet rather than a replacement for it, regardless of how appealing the flavour sounds.

Choosing between jelly and gravy

Jelly and gravy are both complete formats rather than one being more nutritionally complete than the other — the difference is texture and how the sauce coats the food, and most cats show a clear preference for one over the other once they have tried both.

If your cat is a fussy eater, it is worth trying both sauce styles in the same chicken flavour before assuming they dislike chicken itself, since the sauce can make more difference to acceptance than the named protein does.

Mixed recipes that pair chicken with beef or lamb are worth trying too if your cat has never shown a strong preference either way — they give a cat some variety within a single pouch or pack rather than committing to one flavour meal after meal.

Common questions

Can I feed Felix treats instead of a meal?
No. Felix's Crispies, Joyables and Tasty Nuggets treat ranges are designed as an extra alongside a complete diet, not a substitute for one. Use one of the wet food ranges, such as As Good As It Looks or Original, for a full meal.
What's the difference between Felix jelly and gravy?
Both are complete wet food formats; the difference is texture and sauce style rather than nutritional content. Many cats have a clear preference for one over the other, which is worth trying if your cat is a fussy eater.
Are Felix Joyables a liquid treat?
Yes, Joyables are a liquid-style treat rather than a solid piece, designed to be given as an extra rather than fed as part of a meal. They come in various flavours including chicken.
