Felix puppy food

Felix doesn't make a puppy food, because Felix is a cat food brand only — it has never produced anything for dogs, puppies included. If you landed here looking for puppy food, our puppy range is the right place to go instead; if you have a young cat and were looking for something Felix-specific for a kitten, here's what the brand actually offers and where it fits.

Why there's no Felix puppy food

Felix, made by Purina, is built entirely around cats — wet pouches, trays and treats across a range of flavours and textures, aimed at adult and senior cats in particular. There's no dog range under the Felix name at all, so a search for 'Felix puppy' doesn't point to a real product, rather than us simply not stocking one.

If you have a puppy, the food you need is formulated specifically for dogs — puppy food and cat food differ in their protein, fat and mineral balance in ways that matter, so a cat food, Felix or otherwise, isn't a substitute for a proper puppy diet at any stage.

What we stock from the Felix range

We carry a selection of Felix wet cat food — pouches and trays across ranges like As Good As It Looks and the Soup and Doubly Delicious lines, along with some Felix treats. Most of the range is aimed at adult cats, with some products, like the Senior 7+ range, formulated for older cats specifically.

If you have a young cat rather than a dog, check the age guidance on the pack of whichever Felix product you're considering, since not every line in the range is suitable from kitten age — a dedicated kitten food, from Felix's parent brand Purina or elsewhere, is generally the better choice while your cat is still growing.

Common questions

Does Felix make dog food?
No, Felix is exclusively a cat food brand and always has been. There's no puppy or adult dog range under the Felix name from Purina.
Is Felix suitable for kittens?
Most of the core Felix range is formulated for adult cats rather than kittens specifically, so check the age guidance on the individual product before feeding it to a young cat, and consider a dedicated kitten food while they're still growing.
What should I feed my puppy instead?
Look for a complete puppy food formulated specifically for dogs, sized appropriately for a small, medium or large breed puppy — our puppy food range covers a selection of these directly.
