Applaws puppy food
Applaws is best known for minimal-ingredient recipes built around a high percentage of a single named meat, and the puppy range follows the same approach: wet food designed to be gentle and easy to identify what is actually in the bowl. We stock a selection from the puppy range as one option among the wet foods on the shelf.
What makes the Applaws approach different
Applaws recipes are built around a short ingredient list and a high percentage of named meat or fish, rather than a long list of fillers, meals and additives. For puppies, that translates into wet food like Taste Toppers with a straightforward chicken-in-broth recipe rather than a heavily processed formula.
That simplicity is a genuinely useful thing to look for if you are trying to work out what agrees with a puppy who has a sensitive stomach, because there is less to rule in or out. It does not automatically make a food nutritionally complete on its own — always check whether a specific product is labelled complete or complementary before making it a puppy's whole diet.
What we stock, and who it suits
Our range includes Applaws Taste Toppers Wet Puppy Food in chicken breast and broth, available as a single pack or a multipack. As the 'toppers' name suggests, this is typically used to add moisture, flavour and interest to a puppy's regular complete food, particularly for fussy eaters or puppies transitioning between diets.
This suits owners who want a simple, minimal-ingredient way to make mealtimes more appealing without switching a puppy's whole diet, rather than those looking for a single complete puppy food to feed exclusively. Check the pack for feeding guidance specific to your puppy's age and size.

Common questions
- Is Applaws Taste Toppers a complete puppy food?
- Check the individual product before relying on it as a whole diet. Topper-style products are often designed to be added to a puppy's regular complete food rather than fed alone, so read the pack labelling carefully to confirm whether it is complete or complementary.
- Does Giddy Pets stock the full Applaws puppy range?
- No, we stock a selection from the range rather than every product Applaws makes for puppies. What is shown in the grid above reflects what we currently have available to order, and that can change as stock does.
- What age can puppies start on Applaws wet food?
- Check the specific product's pack for its recommended age range, since this varies by recipe. Introduce any new food gradually alongside what a puppy already eats, and speak to your vet if you are unsure what suits your puppy's age and breed size.
- Why would I add a wet food topper to a puppy's dry food?
- Toppers add moisture, aroma and flavour, which can help encourage a fussy eater or make dry kibble more appealing during teething, when chewing hard food is less comfortable. It is a way to add variety without switching a puppy's whole diet.
