What sits in this corner of the shop
Our smallholding aisle grew out of stocking feed and supplies for the small-scale keepers who shop with us for their dogs, cats and poultry as well — chicken feed, small pet forage mixes, and a modest selection of horse and pony items sit alongside each other here rather than in a dedicated equestrian department.
That means what is available for horses specifically is narrow: a small range of treats rather than hard feed, forage, grooming kit or tack. It is there for convenience on a mixed order, not as a first stop for anyone keeping horses seriously.
Where to look for a fuller range
If you need hard feed, forage, supplements, grooming equipment or tack, a specialist equestrian retailer will have a far wider range than we do and staff who know the products in depth. We would rather say that plainly than stretch a small selection into something it is not.
What we do stock is worth checking if a horse or pony treat happens to fit naturally into an order you are already placing for other animals, and we will keep adding to this corner if there is a clear reason to.

- Does Giddy Pets sell horse feed and equipment?
- Only in a very limited way. We specialise in dogs, cats, small pets, birds, fish and reptiles, and our horse-related stock is a small selection of treats within our smallholding aisle, not a dedicated equestrian range. A specialist equestrian retailer will have far more choice.
- Why don't you stock more for horses and ponies?
- Our business and buying focus is companion animals rather than equestrian supplies, so we have not built out a full feed, tack or grooming range for horses. We would rather be upfront about that than present a small selection as something more comprehensive than it is.
- Can I order horse treats alongside my other pet order?
- Yes, that is exactly what this small range is for — adding a horse or pony treat to an order you are already placing for dogs, cats or poultry, rather than needing a separate specialist order for one or two items.
- Will you be adding more horse products in future?
- We review what we stock regularly and will expand this if there is a clear reason to, but we are not planning to become a full equestrian retailer. For now, this corner stays a small, practical addition rather than a complete range.
