Hay is meant to be the largest part of a rabbit's diet by a wide margin, and a plain bale can be a hard sell to a fussy eater, which is most of the reason a herb-scented version exists at all.

This is built from meadow hay at 98%, with dandelion, camomile, nettle and mallow flowers each at 0.5%. Burgess's own guidance is that good-quality feeding hay and grass should make up 85-90% of a rabbit's diet and be available at all times, alongside this as part of that daily allowance. It analyses at 60% beneficial fibre, 6.7% crude protein, 1.7% fat and 31.4% crude fibre.
