Full description

Drying grass rather than turning it into hay changes remarkably little about it beyond the water content, which is the entire selling point — the flavour, smell and nutrient value of fresh grass are kept close to intact rather than lost in a slower curing process.

This is dried grass grown in Yorkshire, with protein at 12%, fibre at 28% and oil at 2%. It's sold as a complementary product rather than a complete diet, and Friendly say it can be fed continuously (ad libitum) on its own or combined with quality hay, alongside constant access to fresh water.
