Pet Corrector

Shouting at a dog mid-bark rarely lands as a correction, because to the dog it just sounds like you've joined in. Pet Corrector works differently: it makes a sound dogs are already wired to react to, rather than adding another human voice to the noise.

Developed by dog behaviourist Dr Roger Mugford, it uses compressed air to mimic the natural warning hiss that swans and other animals make - a sound dogs tend to instinctively pause at. The 200ML canister is used alongside a simple three-step technique: Witness the unwanted behaviour, Act with one short spray away from the dog, then Give a reward once they stop, so the dog learns that calm behaviour is what gets the reward rather than the noise itself being the point.
