Full description

Puppy food has to do more than borrow a smaller picture for the bag. This recipe is explicitly made for puppies and declares beef as four-fifths of the composition, with the rest of the panel available for a buyer to inspect.

Beef is 80%, sweet potato 10%, peas and spinach 2% each. Pea fibre, sunflower oil, minerals, yucca, green tea and yeast products are also listed. It is complete puppy food with 13% protein, 10% fat and 160 kcal/100 g. The maker description states no grain and approximately 58 nuggets per 1KG pack.

Puppy portions are not published here. The card identifies the life stage and the approximate number of nuggets, but it does not say how many suit a puppy of a given size or age. Follow the pack's puppy feeding table and ask your vet when changing a young dog's diet.

Who it's for: puppies whose owners are equipped for frozen raw feeding and want a complete beef-led recipe with no grain stated.

Why we chose it

The 80% beef declaration is clear, and the puppy status is explicit rather than inferred from the bag design. Those two facts make this a straightforward option to compare with the chicken-and-salmon puppy nuggets.
