A dog does not tell you its joints are sore. It just does less of the things that make joints hurt: a shorter walk, a slower set of stairs, a pause before the jump into the car that never used to be there. Owners usually notice the gap between what a dog used to do and what it does now long before anything you could point a vet at.

Mobility is a chew-based joint supplement from Natural Vetcare, built around five ingredients rather than one. Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin Sulphate are the two most established joint-cartilage nutrients and form the base of the formula; MSM and native Type II Collagen are added alongside them, with Hyaluronic Acid and Omega-3s for joint lubrication and general support. It comes as 50 chews to a tub.

• Glucosamine Sulphate and Chondroitin Sulphate as the core ingredients
• MSM and native Type II Collagen also included
• Hyaluronic Acid and Omega-3s added for lubrication and general joint support
• 50 chews per tub
• Made by Natural Vetcare

What the label does not say. We have not been supplied a daily chew count, a dose by dog size, or a minimum age, so there is nothing here to tell a Chihuahua owner and a Great Dane owner apart. Ask a vet how many chews suit your dog's size before starting, particularly if your dog is already on any other supplement or medication.

Who it's for: owners of an older or less mobile dog who want one product carrying several joint ingredients rather than buying and mixing several different tubs, and anyone starting a joint routine before a problem, not after one.
