Full description

Puppy recipes need a genuine growth-stage identity, not merely an adult food with a different serving size. This tin is specifically designed for puppies and states how long that stage may extend by breed.

Fresh chicken is 67%, potatoes 2% and carrots 1%, followed by vitamins, chelated minerals, salmon oil and botanicals. The 400G recipe is complete wet puppy food. It is described as suitable up to 8–14 months depending on breed. Analysis gives 10.6% protein, 5.1% fat, 2% ash, 0.5% fibre and 80% moisture. The available panel does not state energy, and no daily feeding table is supplied here.

Breed affects the stated age range. Suitability is given as up to 8–14 months depending on breed, so there is no single switch date for every puppy. Use the current tin’s feeding guide and ask your vet when deciding when to move to adult food.

Who it's for: puppies whose owners want complete chicken-led wet food and will use breed-specific guidance for the transition to adult feeding.

Why we chose it

The 67% fresh chicken figure and explicit puppy formulation give this large tin a strong, practical identity. The breed-dependent 8–14-month range is equally useful because it prevents a single age from being presented as universal.
