Laughing Dog Puppy Meal

A mixer is not meant to be the whole meal — it's there to be mixed with something wetter, and how well it does that job depends more on how it's baked than on anything printed on the front of the bag.

Laughing Dog's Puppy Meal is a traditionally baked meal made from 100% British wheat, using natural wholemeal flour, which they describe as easily digestible. Protein is 11%, crude fibre 3%, fat content 2.5% and crude ash 2.5%, at 335 kcal per 100g. It's meant to be mixed with wet food or fresh or canned meat rather than fed on its own.

On feeding puppies specifically. Laughing Dog's own instruction for puppies is to start on 4 meals a day, reducing to 2 as they mature — there's no separate puppy weight chart here, only the size bands above, so use those as a starting point and adjust to condition rather than to a fixed number.
