James Wellbeloved Adult Dry Dog Food Duck & Rice

Chicken sensitivity is common enough that a lot of "hypoallergenic" dog foods still use chicken fat even while avoiding chicken meat itself, which rather defeats the point for a dog reacting to poultry generally. James Wellbeloved's duck recipe avoids that overlap by building the whole thing, fat included, around one bird.

Dried duck protein makes up 24% of the recipe, with naked oats, brown and white rice at 13% each, barley, whole linseed at 4% and duck gravy providing the fat and flavour rather than a separate poultry fat. Protein comes out at 24.1%, fat at 11.1%, crude ash at 6.2% and crude fibre at 3.1%, with omega-3 at 1.1% and omega-6 at 2.7%, and an energy value of 361 kcal per 100g. On checking the fat source. A recipe can name one protein and still use fat from a different animal, which matters if a dog's sensitivity is to poultry broadly rather than chicken specifically.
