Lamb gets marketed as a gentler protein than chicken or beef, but nutritionally it's still just another animal protein — what actually makes a recipe suit a sensitive dog is having one clear source rather than several stacked together, whichever meat that source happens to be.

This James Wellbeloved recipe is built around dried lamb protein (25%), with barley, brown rice (13%), white rice (13%), naked oats, poultry fat, pea protein, whole linseed (3.5%), lamb gravy, sugar beet pulp, alfalfa meal, pea fibre, seaweed (0.5%), minerals, fish oil, nettles, parsley, chicory extract (0.1%), glucosamine (0.045%), yucca extract (0.02%) and chondroitin (0.005%).
