Full description
A plush toy that squeaks tends to hold a dog's interest longer than a silent one, which is why so many soft dog toys build the squeaker in rather than treating it as an optional extra.
This is Hemm & Boo's Country Rat, a small plush dog toy with a realistic country design and a squeaker inside. It's stuffed, giving it the soft, huggable feel typical of plush dog toys, and it's sized small.
- Small size
- Plush construction with internal stuffing
- Built-in squeaker
- Realistic country rat design
- Sold as a single toy
One thing worth knowing. As with any stuffed toy, a determined chewer can get through the fabric to the stuffing and squeaker inside, so it's best kept for dogs who play rather than dismantle their soft toys, and checked regularly for wear.
Who it's for: dogs that enjoy carrying and squeaking a soft toy rather than shredding it, particularly smaller breeds given the small size.

Why we chose it
A realistic design and a built-in squeaker are what separate a toy a dog keeps coming back to from one that gets ignored after the first afternoon. It's a small size too, so it suits a smaller dog's mouth rather than being awkwardly large.
