Full description
A toy that makes a slightly odd, amusing noise tends to get more attention from a dog than a standard squeak, simply because it is less predictable — which is presumably the appeal Happy Pet are leaning on with this one.
The Empty Nest Pheasant is a plush toy made from high-quality plush material, measuring 45cm, built with an amusing sound feature and sized as ideal for small to medium dogs.
- High-quality plush construction
- Measures 45cm
- Makes an amusing sound during play
- Ideal for small to medium dogs
- Packed weight 0.063kg
Something worth flagging. The card doesn't tell us exactly what produces the sound — squeaker, crinkle or something else — or give a washing instruction. If your dog is a determined chewer rather than a carrier, this lightweight construction may not hold up as long as a tougher toy.
Who it's for: small to medium dogs that like a plush toy to carry and shake, and owners who want a bit more novelty than a standard squeak.

Why we chose it
It's specifically sized for small to medium dogs rather than a generic one-size plush toy, which matters when a lot of plush ranges default to being built for bigger dogs. The 'amusing sound' detail is also just a nice bit of character rather than the usual flat squeak.
