How to measure
- Width: lighter, narrower webbing for small dogs; wider, thicker webbing for strong pullers and larger dogs.
- Standard lead (1.2–1.5 m): everyday pavement walks and training.
- Long line (3–10 m): recall practice and open spaces.
- Short / traffic lead (under 1 m): close control in busy areas.

Full description
A bungee section in a lead does one thing and does it for both of you: it takes the shock out of the moment a dog hits the end of it. That is easier on a dog's neck and shoulders, easier on your own arm, and noticeably better if you walk a dog who lunges at squirrels without warning.
Halti build this one to be used with or without the bungee, so it adapts rather than committing you. There is a clip at each end, which means it can be double-ended on one dog for training, run at different lengths, or used to walk two dogs at once. It has a close control handle further down for the moments you need the dog beside you, and the length adjusts — at maximum it is approximately 2 metres. Halti have been making walking gear since 1979.
