An ordinary tennis ball on a dog toy tends to fail at the seam — chewed, soaked and thrown enough times, the felt splits and the rubber underneath follows. Guru's answer is to fuse the ball onto a stick using an overmoulded process, rather than gluing a standard ball on afterwards.

The Tennis Max Stick squeaks on the bite, floats for water retrieves, and is built to resist soaking up slobber the way a felt-covered ball normally does. It uses Guru's own ChewPro material, aimed at rough play without being harsh on a dog's teeth and gums.
