A shorter retractable cord suits places where a dog doesn't need the full run of an open field — a busy pavement, a narrow path, anywhere extra length would just mean more slack to manage.
This is a 5m cord leash in flexi's New Classic range, rated for dogs up to 20kg — the same weight rating as the 8m version in this range, just with less cord to extend. It shares the same reflective protector belt and braking system.
