Full description
A retractable lead earns its keep on lower-traffic walks - a field, a quiet towpath - where a dog benefits from more range than a fixed six-foot lead gives, without losing control the moment it's needed.
This is an 8m tape lead rated for dogs up to a maximum of 25kg, with a solid soft-grip handle and a chromed snap hook. The neon-coloured tape and print are there for visibility as much as looks, and flexi build the case with a comfortable braking system to bring a dog back under control without a sudden jolt.

On the colour. This one comes in a single black-and-neon-yellow colourway, confirmed by the product photo - it isn't sold in the range of colours some flexi tapes offer, so if you want to match a specific colour scheme, check the listing rather than assuming.
Who it's for: owners of dogs up to 25kg who want more range on open walks than a standard lead gives, and like a visible neon tape for low-light walking.

Why we chose it
flexi's braking system is genuinely better than the budget retractables that just lock or don't, which is worth the extra a customer pays. The 8m length and 25kg rating cover most medium dogs without stepping up to the giant-breed versions.
