A can range offering tripe, chicken & liver and beef & liver reads like three genuinely distinct recipes, and in one sense it is - but it is worth knowing that chicken forms the base of all three, with the named extra sitting at a small, consistent percentage on top.

The beef & liver can is British and Irish farmed chicken 42%, beef 4%, liver 4%; the chicken & liver can is chicken 46%, liver 4%; the tripe can is chicken 42%, tripe 4%, liver 4%. All are grain-free with salmon oil, parsley, rosehip, chicory and mint added.

• 24 cans: 6 with tripe, 12 with chicken & liver, 6 with beef & liver
• Each recipe: chicken base 42-46%, named extra 4%
• Protein 7.5%, fat content 5%, moisture 83%
• Grain-free
• 400G cans

What "with Tripe" actually means here. Tripe sits at 4% in that can, alongside chicken at 42% and liver at 4% - a smaller amount than the name alone suggests, though it is genuinely present and comes from grass-fed cattle per the maker.

Who it's for: dogs that enjoy jelly-style canned variety, rather than owners looking for a genuinely tripe- or beef-dominant can.
