Butcher's Simply Gentle Dog Food Trays 24 X 150g

A dog fed the same meal every night for a month will often go off it long before the bag runs out, which is the ordinary case for a variety pack — though Butcher's pitch this one specifically at sensitive stomachs rather than just boredom.

Two of the three recipes in this box are fully detailed on our card: one built from chicken and chicken broth (60%) with beef (10%) and cooked wholegrain rice (6%), the other from salmon and salmon broth (30%), chicken (30%) and beef (10%) with the same rice. Both carry a "Simply Gentle Blend" at 5,600mg/kg, and Butcher's describe the range as hypoallergenic, wholegrain recipes. The tray is metal and the outer carton card, both described as widely recyclable, with the carton made from 100% recycled paper.

What the label does not say. The card we hold gives only one figure from the nutritional analysis — 0.3% fat — with no protein or moisture percentage, and the third recipe's full ingredient breakdown wasn't captured on it either. We'd treat that single figure as incomplete rather than the whole picture.

Who it's for: owners of a dog with a sensitive stomach who want a wholegrain, multi-recipe tray box rather than a single-flavour case.
