A racing or coursing greyhound spends most of its day flat out asleep and only a few minutes a week actually working, which is a different feeding problem to a sheepdog that is on its feet from dawn — and it is why a maintenance-level formula can be exactly the right food for a dog that only exists in the "working" aisle on paper.
