Full description

A puppy does not care where its protein comes from. It cares whether the diet in front of it adds up to everything a growing body needs, which is a formulation question rather than a philosophical one, and it is the question Benevo answer here without using a single animal ingredient.

This is a complete food built from soya, white rice, corn and sunflower oil, with peas, beet pulp and brewer's yeast alongside it, and minerals and vitamins added to cover what a plant-based recipe would otherwise miss. Taurine and L-carnitine — two nutrients normally supplied by meat — are added directly, at 952mg/kg and 240mg/kg.
