Full description
Walking two dogs on separate leads usually means two sets of pulling forces fighting each other through your shoulder. A coupler turns that into one lead doing the job most of the time instead.
This coupler is made from bungee material that absorbs the shock of a pulling or lunging dog, reducing strain on the owner's arm and the dog's own neck and throat. It attaches to any existing lead and collar.
- Bungee material absorbs shock from pulling or lunging
- Attaches to any existing lead and collar
- Reduces strain on the owner's arm and the dog's neck
- Couples two dogs to one lead
What the numbers do not agree on. the listing gives two different figures for this coupler's cord length (30cm and 37cm) and two different maximum weight ratings (2x20kg and 2x50kg) in different places. We cannot tell you which is correct, so treat both as approximate, and lean towards the lower weight figure if you have two large, strong-pulling dogs.
Who it's for: owners walking two dogs who want one coupler rather than untangling two separate leads on every walk.

Why we chose it
A coupler is the cheap fix for the actual daily annoyance of walking two dogs, which is leads crossing and dogs pulling in different directions. The bungee stretch takes some of the jolt out of it, which a fixed coupler doesn't.
