Burns dog treats

Burns is best known for its hypoallergenic dry dog food, and its treats range follows the same idea — short ingredient lists built around a single named protein rather than a long list of additions. We stock a selection from the treats range, and each product page shows what is in stock right now.

Why the ingredient list is short

Burns was originally built around feeding dogs with sensitive stomachs and skin, and the treats carry that same thinking through: a short, named ingredient list rather than a treat bulked out with cereals, colourings or a long list of flavourings.

That makes them a reasonable option to reach for if you are already feeding a dog on a limited-ingredient diet and do not want to undo the point of it with a treat that adds ingredients back in. It does not automatically make them the right treat for every dog.

What we stock, and who it suits

Our range includes a selection of Burns dog treats, sold as a training and reward treat rather than a meal replacement. We stock a slice of the wider treats range rather than every variant, and what shows above is what is currently available to order.

It suits owners who are already feeding Burns food and want a treat that matches, and owners of dogs with a known sensitivity who are looking for something with fewer ingredients than a typical shop-bought treat.

Common questions

Are Burns treats suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs?
They are built around a short, named ingredient list, which suits many dogs with sensitivities, but every dog reacts differently. Introduce any new treat in small amounts first and watch how your dog gets on before making it a regular thing.
Does Giddy Pets stock the whole Burns treats range?
No, we stock a selection rather than every variant Burns makes. What is shown in the grid above is what we currently have available to order, and that can change as stock does.
How many treats can I give my dog a day?
Treats of any kind should stay a small part of a dog's daily food overall, with the rest made up of their complete food. If you are feeding a lot of treats, cut back on their regular meal slightly so their total intake stays about the same rather than simply adding treats on top.
Do I need to be feeding Burns food to give my dog Burns treats?
No, the treats are sold and can be fed on their own regardless of what complete food your dog eats day to day. They are simply built on the same limited-ingredient approach as the wider Burns range, which is why the two are often bought together.
