Why this isn't a straightforward 'best food' question
Pancreatitis varies a lot in severity, from a single mild episode to an ongoing condition that needs careful long-term management, and the right diet depends on which of those applies to your dog, on their weight, and on any other health conditions they have. That's a conversation for your vet, not something a shop can substitute for.
Many vets manage pancreatitis with a specific prescription low-fat diet, available only through a veterinary practice, particularly for a dog who has had more than one episode. What 'low-fat' actually means on a label
Fat content is listed as a percentage in the analytical constituents on the back of the pack, and it's worth comparing that figure between foods rather than trusting a 'light' or 'sensitive' label on the front, which doesn't always mean what it implies. A genuinely lower-fat everyday food will usually show a noticeably smaller fat percentage than a standard adult recipe.
This matters for a dog recovering from a mild, isolated episode whose vet is happy for them to move onto an everyday lower-fat diet once they're back to normal, rather than staying on a prescription food long-term. Even then, any change of food should be made gradually and with your vet's input, not decided from a shelf.
What to do next
If your dog is currently unwell, showing signs like repeated vomiting, a hunched or painful posture, or reluctance to eat, that needs a vet the same day rather than a change of food at home. Pancreatitis can range from mild to genuinely serious, and it isn't something to manage by diet alone while symptoms are active.
