Trays and pots are two of the ways wet cat food is packaged, alongside pouches and tins, and the difference is mostly texture and portion size rather than ingredients. We stock terrine and pate-style trays and mousse-style pots from several brands, in single trays and multipacks.

Trays tend to suit cats who prefer a firmer, pate or terrine texture over a sauce or jelly, and the individual tray size means less goes to waste than opening a larger tin for one meal, particularly useful for a cat who will not finish a full portion in one sitting.
Pots
Gourmet Revelations Mousse Chicken, Tuna and Salmon are all 57g mousse pots with cascading gravy, aimed at a softer, smoother texture than a terrine tray, and Gourmet Revelations Fine Cuts in Jelly Salmon uses the same pot format for a jelly-based recipe instead of mousse. If your cat is a picky eater, offering a few different textures — terrine, mousse and jelly — across a couple of feeds is often a faster way to find what they actually prefer than sticking with one format and assuming it is the food itself they are rejecting.
