Full description
Cats are famously reluctant to switch foods mid-bowl, which is why SHEBA sell this as a topper rather than asking a cat to eat it as a whole meal.
It's chicken fillets (35%) and tuna fillets (4%) in a gravy thickened with tapioca starch, xylose and maltodextrin, served in a foil tray with a dome-shaped meal on top — a format built for spooning out one portion and resealing or discarding the rest.
- Chicken fillets 35%, tuna fillets 4%
- Protein 11.5%, fat 0.8%, crude ash 0.55%, moisture 84%
- 40 kcal per 60g tray
- Feed up to one dome daily, reducing the main meal by half an 85g pouch
- Complete and balanced for adult cats aged 1+, when fed alongside a reduced main meal
- 60G foil tray
On protein. At 11.5%, protein here is lower than a standalone wet food, because it's designed to sit on top of a reduced main meal rather than replace one outright. SHEBA don't publish an omega, calcium or phosphorus figure for this recipe, so that part of the additives table is left blank on the pack itself.
Who it's for: owners of adult cats who already feed a main wet or dry food and want a small daily topper to encourage eating, rather than a full replacement meal.

Why we chose it
It's sold by the dome rather than the tin, which suits cats that won't finish a full pouch in one sitting. Feeding it alongside a reduced main meal rather than instead of one is the bit worth knowing before buying a case of it.
