Full description
A tug toy that goes rock-hard in cold weather is a toy that only gets used half the year, which is the specific problem this one is built to avoid.
The Zeus NITRO Tugger is 22cm long, made using the same kind of flexible, durable material found in professional sports gear, giving a grip that stays soft and workable across the seasons rather than stiffening up in the cold.
- 22cm long
- Soft, flexible sports-grade material
- FDA-approved
- Buoyant, so it floats
- Designed for all seasons
On weight: Zeus describe the toy as an "ideal weight" for safe play without stating what that weight actually is, so it's a manufacturer's characterisation rather than a figure we can confirm from this card.
Who it's for: owners who play tug-of-war outdoors year-round, including near water, and want a toy that doesn't go stiff in cold weather.

Why we chose it
Buoyancy matters more than it sounds for a toy that's going to end up near water, and FDA-approved material is a genuine reassurance on something a dog spends most of its time with in its mouth. Being built for all seasons means it isn't a fair-weather-only purchase.
