Joint care is usually sold as something for older dogs, but a young, active dog putting in serious mileage - running, jumping, working - is placing plenty of load on joints that are still developing. Waiting until stiffness shows up is starting the conversation later than it needs to be.

YuMOVE Joint Care for Young Dogs, previously sold as YuMOVE Young & Active, is a triple-action formula built for young, active and growing dogs. Its core ingredient is ActivEase Green Lipped Mussel (GLM), which YuMOVE say contains higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids than standard GLM powders, alongside a form of Hyaluronic Acid that YuMOVE say is proven to reach a dog's joints within 2 hours. It comes as 60 tablets per pack.

• Triple-action joint formula
• ActivEase Green Lipped Mussel (GLM), described as higher in Omega-3 than standard GLM powder
• Hyaluronic Acid - YuMOVE say it reaches the joints within 2 hours
• 60 tablets per pack
• Aimed at young, active and growing dogs

One thing worth knowing. The "reaches joints within 2 hours" figure is YuMOVE's own claim about their specific form of Hyaluronic Acid, from testing we haven't been given detail on, so treat it as the manufacturer's stated performance rather than something independently verified here.

Who it's for: owners of a young or working dog under real physical load - running, agility, working roles - who want to start joint support early rather than after stiffness sets in.
