Two quite different problems get solved by the same thing here. Outdoors, grit, road salt and freezing pavements are hard on paw pads through a British winter. Two things worth knowing. Dogs walk very oddly in footwear for the first few sessions, so let yours wear them around the house before a real walk rather than discovering the problem halfway down the street.
