A bowl only needs to do two things well — stay where you put it, and hold what you pour into it — and at over a litre of capacity, staying put matters more than usual.

This is a BPA-free, 100% recyclable plastic bowl with non-slip rubber feet fitted to the base, holding 1,248ml — sized, per Moderna, for larger dogs. It measures 23.9 x 21.4 x 8.4cm and weighs 1.4kg, and it's dishwasher safe for everyday washing.

On sizing. Moderna offer this design across several capacities for different breeds, but this specific listing does not name a weight or breed range it suits — 1,248ml is a genuinely large bowl, closer to what a big dog needs in one sitting than a bowl to be topped up throughout the day, so check it against your dog's actual portion before assuming bigger is simply better.

Who it's for: owners of larger dogs who want a bowl heavy and wide enough to stay put through an enthusiastic feed, and who'd rather wash one large bowl than refill a smaller one twice.
