Full description
A dog with long ears finds a way to dip them in the water bowl no matter how you angle the dish, so the only real fix is a bowl shaped to keep the ears out in the first place.
This bowl has raised sides and a narrower opening specifically to keep long ears — spaniel-type breeds — out of the food or water while the dog eats. It's BPA-free, 100% recyclable plastic with non-slip rubber feet, holds 600ml, measures 20.3 x 18 x 10.6cm and is dishwasher safe.

On which ears it fits. Spaniel-type breeds are named as the intended fit but no ear-length measurement is given to check against, so this is a design aimed at a shape of dog rather than a guaranteed fit for every long-eared breed — worth checking the opening width against your own dog's ears if they're unusually long.
Who it's for: owners of spaniels and other long-eared dogs whose ears currently end up wet or food-smeared at every meal.

Why we chose it
It solves one specific, annoying problem — ears in the bowl — rather than trying to be a general-purpose dish, and that focus is worth the shelf space on its own. 600ml is also a reasonable size for the breeds it's aimed at.
