Almost everything sold for firework night gets bought on firework night. That is the awkward part of this one, because VetIQ's own timings say it does not work like that: they state it starts working in 6-8 hours and that maximum effect needs 24-36 hours. Bought at teatime on the fifth, it is doing very little by the time the first rocket goes up.

The tablets are built on L-tryptophan with magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulphate heptahydrate and calcium carbonate, plus taurine, vitamins B3, B6, D3 and E, zinc and selenium. VetIQ describe it as non-sedating and specifically not a tranquilliser, and list the situations they made it for as fireworks, thunderstorms, travel, excessive barking and being left at home alone. There are 60 tablets in the tub, and it is a supplementary feed rather than a medicine.
