How to measure

Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.

Full description

Dogs overheat lying down more often than people expect, because a thick padded bed insulates in both directions and a dog cannot sweat their way out of it. What most animals want in July is not a cold surface but one that stops holding their own heat against them. A breathable top over a supportive base does that, and it is the reason a hot dog abandons the good bed for the kitchen tiles.

The top surface is woven to let air move through rather than trapping it, over a cushioned sofa-shaped base with bolster sides for a dog who props their head up. The whole cover detaches for the machine, which is not a small point in summer, when beds collect pollen, grass seed and a good deal of shed coat. Underneath, a non-slip base stops the bed sliding across a hard floor when a big dog flops into it. Four sizes and four colours are offered.
