Corduroy makes a better dog toy than it sounds like it should. The ribs give teeth something to catch on, so the toy gets carried and mouthed rather than immediately torn open at a seam, and it holds its shape after a soaking in a way plain plush does not. That rope tail is the part that changes how the toy gets played with. One correction and one warning. Earlier copy described this as a snuffle toy with pockets for hiding treats. It has none. It is a squeaky plush with a rope tail, and we would rather tell you now than have you open the parcel expecting an enrichment feeder. Rope also sheds fibres once a dog starts stripping it, and swallowed strands are a real problem, so supervise and retire it when the tail frays.
