Product description

Getting a harness onto a wriggling puppy is far easier when nothing has to go over the head. A step-in design lies flat on the floor, the front feet go into the two openings, and it fastens up over the back, with no ears to squeeze past and no scrabbling. For a dog that has already decided it dislikes being dressed, that is often the difference between a walk and a standoff.

The body is padded mesh rather than narrow webbing, so the pull of the lead spreads across the chest and ribs instead of concentrating on the throat, and the mesh breathes on warm days rather than sitting on the coat like a jacket. The lead is included and sized to match, which is a small mercy on a set this light.

How to measure

Stand your dog up squarely.
Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Keep two fingers under the tape so the fit is snug, not tight.
If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger one.
