Size guide & how to measure
The maker prints a six-size table measured in cm, with a rough weight guide in catties.
How to measure
- Measure the chest right round the widest part, just behind the front legs.
- Measure the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Match the chest figure first - the maker says chest is the measurement to go by.
| Size/cm | Chest/cm | Back length/cm | Weight/catties |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 32 | 20 | 1-3 |
| S | 37 | 25 | 3-5 |
| M | 42 | 30 | 5-8 |
| L | 47 | 35 | 8-11 |
| XL | 52 | 40 | 11-15 |
| XXL | 57 | 45 | 15-20 |
Manufacturer's own figures. Weight is printed in Chinese catties (1 catty = 0.5 kg), so 1-3 catties is roughly 0.5-1.5 kg, 3-5 is 1.5-2.5 kg, 5-8 is 2.5-4 kg, 8-11 is 4-5.5 kg, 11-15 is 5.5-7.5 kg and 15-20 is 7.5-10 kg. Their note: weight is for reference only, it is recommended to measure chest circumference, and a 2-3cm error is normal for manual measurement.
