Full description

A trout recipe can still begin with a plant ingredient. Pea starch comes first here, with trout declared at 13% and other fish ingredients appearing later in the composition.

The two-size family combines kibble with raw freeze-dried bites. Alongside trout 13%, it lists dehydrated trout proteins, white fish and salmon, plus peas, potato, pea protein, lard, linseed and maize oil. Chicory-root concentrate is 0.8% and spirulina 0.1%. Both variants are complete, with 25.5% protein, 14.5% fat, 3% fibre, 7% ash and 3% omega 6. The shared analysis also declares 3% fibre, 7% ash and 3% omega 6 for both pack variants.

Two pack sizes
Trout 13%
White fish and salmon also listed
Kibble with raw freeze-dried bites
Complete dog food
Protein 25.5% and fat 14.5%

Trout does not lead the ingredient list. Pea starch appears first, and lard means the formula is not fish-only. The supplied description states no grain, but no daily portion is provided for either pack size.

Who it's for: adult dogs whose owners want complete mixed-texture fish food and are comfortable with pea starch first and lard in the recipe.

Why we chose it

The texture combination earns attention, but 13% trout and the first-listed pea starch are the facts that decide suitability. That transparent framing is more useful than treating “trout” as a complete composition summary.
