The MPS Topshirt is one of those products that does a lot more than it looks like it should. At its core it's a recovery garment — it covers the body post-surgery, keeping wounds clean and stopping dogs from licking or biting at stitches. But because the snug fit applies gentle pressure to the torso, many dogs find it genuinely calming too, which may help with barking, travel anxiety, or separation distress without any medication.
The body is double-layered cotton for softness against skin, with a breathable cotton/Lycra front panel that allows full freedom of movement. Fitting is quick thanks to an adjustable chest closure, and the whole thing goes straight in the washing machine:

How to measure
- Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
- Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
- If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.
