When dressing a wound properly, getting the layers right makes all the difference. This non-woven polyester padding from 3M is designed to sit comfortably between the skin and outer bandage, providing cushioning and helping to reduce moisture retention — so the underlying area stays drier and more comfortable.

The porous structure allows air to circulate freely, keeping the skin healthier during recovery. Highly conformable, it moulds easily to awkward body angles and contours, meaning it works just as well on legs, paws, and joints as it does on larger areas. Compatible with all casting materials including plaster and synthetic casts, it's also strong enough to tear cleanly without scissors.
