Full description

Eating too fast causes more trouble at the other end of a meal — retching, gulping air, being sick minutes later — than owners tend to connect back to the speed of the meal itself.

This mat has LickiMat's raised brush-tip pattern, designed for soft or liquid foods like yoghurt, purées, gravy and wet food, built to slow eating pace and support oral health and mental enrichment. It's 20 x 20cm, freezer safe, microwave friendly and hand washable.

On the name, once more. 'Guava' is a colour here, the same way it is across the rest of LickiMat's range — there's no scent or flavour listed for this mat. LickiMat say it's suitable for all dogs with supervision on first introduction, and recommend their Keeper for teething puppies or heavy chewers.

Who it's for: owners of a dog that gulps wet or liquid food too quickly, wanting a mat built for that texture specifically.

Why we chose it

Wet food and gravy need a texture that actually holds them rather than letting them run off, which is what the brush-tip pattern is for. It's the same low-maintenance, hand-wash mat as the rest of the Soothe range.
