Full description
Large breeds are not automatically warm. A Border Collie fresh out of a wet field, a lean lurcher, or an older Retriever who has lost condition all lose heat while standing still, and standing still is most of what happens on a winter walk while somebody investigates a gatepost. Fleece is about the right weight for that: warm, quick to dry, and light enough not to shorten a working dog's stride.
This is a two-tone fleece with a soft lining and a drawstring hood, cut for big dogs rather than scaled up from a small pattern. The size run starts at 3XL and goes to 7XL, which is genuinely unusual and is the main reason to buy it. Blue and coffee are the two colourways, and listed weights of 290g to 330g tell you it is a substantial garment rather than a thin novelty layer.
