Collars are sized by the neck girth — the measurement around the base of the neck where the collar will sit.

How to measure

Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
Use that measurement to pick a size whose range it falls within.

Full description

Some things are bought for a photograph, and there is no shame in that. This knitted collar scarf loops around a cat or small dog's neck and hangs with tassels and faux pearls, in red and gold, for Lunar New Year and the run of family visits either side of it. It goes on in a second and comes off just as fast, which is exactly what you want from something worn for an occasion.

The knit itself is soft and has some give, so it sits against the neck rather than gripping it, and there is enough weight in the tassels for them to hang properly instead of curling up. Five designs run through the range, from golden balls to a lion-dance motif, in two sizes. Because it is knitted rather than stitched from stiff fabric, it packs flat and comes back out next year without a crease down the middle.
