Full description
Most dogs are dressed for about as long as it takes to get the photo, so a birthday outfit has one job: go on fast, come off easily, and not become the thing everyone remembers about the party. A bandana and a hat clear that bar in a way a full outfit rarely does.
This is Smart Choice's Birthday Bandana & Hat set: a fabric bandana measuring 43 x 17cm and a matching party hat at 11 x 9cm, finished with an elastic strap and a pom pom. It comes in three assorted celebratory prints - "It's My Birthday", "Let's Pawty" and "Dog" - so which design turns up is down to the pack rather than a choice you make at checkout.
- Bandana: 43 x 17cm
- Hat: 11 x 9cm, with elastic chin strap and pom pom trim
- Fabric with elastic and pom pom details
- Three assorted birthday prints - design sent at random
- Single set per pack
On the design. Because the print is assorted rather than selectable, you cannot choose "It's My Birthday" over "Let's Pawty" when you order - whichever of the three you get is the one your dog wears. If the exact wording matters for photos, this may not be the right set.
Who it's for: owners planning a dog's birthday who want a quick, cheap way to mark the day in photos, and don't mind which of the three prints turns up.

Why we chose it
It solves the birthday-photo problem without asking a dog to tolerate an actual outfit. A bandana and a hat go on and off in seconds, which is about all the patience most dogs have for dressing up.
