Fish is one of the less common proteins in a typical dog's feeding history, which is exactly the point of a limited-ingredient diet — the fewer times a dog has already eaten the protein, the more useful it is as a genuine change when a sensitivity is suspected.

This James Wellbeloved recipe is built around dried fish protein (22%), with barley, brown rice (13%), white rice (13%), naked oats, poultry fat, fish stock, whole linseed (3.7%), fish oil, pea protein, dried peas, alfalfa meal, pea fibre, seaweed (0.5%), minerals, chicory pulp, nettles, parsley, chicory extract (0.1%), glucosamine (0.045%), yucca extract (0.02%) and chondroitin.
