A small-breed puppy is essentially grown by its first birthday; a large-breed puppy is still growing well past it, which is why large-breed puppy food is fed for longer than the word 'puppy' suggests.

This IAMS recipe is for large-breed puppies: dogs expected to reach 25-40kg as adults are fed it from 4 weeks old until 12 months, and those 40kg and over from 4 weeks until 24 months. It's built on dried chicken and turkey (26%, 16% named as chicken) plus fresh chicken (10%), with protein at 26%, fat at 14%, and DHA added at 0.18% for brain development.
